To proclaim the Gospel Message in faithful relationship with the Father. To seek truth and act only in love, recognizing that each of us is uniquely gifted and called to be an active part of the body of Christ. To pursue our mission through guidance of the Holy Spirit and the gifts and talents of our members. To continue to minister to each other and be, by our acts a sign of the presence of Jesus for our neighbor.

From the desk of Father Paul, May 2, 2010
Beginning tomorrow (Monday) afternoon at 2:00 p.m., all the Priests of the Diocese will be gathering at Turtle Bay Resort for the annual Priest’s Convocation. The Bishop wants all the Priests to attend unless excused by him personally. I must admit, I look forward to these gatherings because it gives the Priests a chance to get to know one another, allows us to pray together, gives us some good points to help us in our ministries and gives us time to relax and enjoy ourselves. The theme for this year’s convocation is “Do this in memory of Me: Renewing the Spirituality of Priesthood”. It is a great topic and hopefully it will help us to renew our dedication to Christ in our Priesthood.
Because there will be no Priest here to celebrate Mass, Deacon Ernie will do a Communion service each morning at 6:30 a.m., form Tuesday to Friday. I will celebrate the morning Mass as usual on Monday, May 3rd.
