Thanks to everybody who helped obtain, prepare, and serve the food at the Lighthouse Homeless shelter tonight. It was a great success. It’s nice to have a lot of the old regulars and also to see some new faces.
We also served breakfast at the IHS this morning. Matt, our parishioner in charge, requested 12 people to help serve at both the Women’s and Children’s Shelter and the Men’s Shelter. We only had 4 sign up so we could only do the Men’s Shelter. The IHS serving is now open to the entire parish. Look for the signup sheet on the bulletin board outside the parish kitchen towards the end of the month and sign up to help.
